Tianyuankui Guesthouse is located inside of the Old city perimeter, on the most attractive street in Pingyao - Nandajie (Mingqing street - meaning Ming and Qing Dynasty Street). The classic architecture, ancient houses, stone lion carvings, Ming & Qing style furniture, red lanterns and fragrant tea by candlelight, all adding to the memorable experience. Myself (Sally) have been personally stayed in Tianyuankui Guesthouse for 3 nights in April 2009. The rooms are very clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. The guest house restaurant is so convenient. I noticed that there are more western guests than Chinese, because the guest house is recommended by some well know English Guede Books, also it got may good reviews from Tripadvisor web site.
Facilities: This guesthouse made from front courtyard, middle courtyard, side courtyard and back courtyard. All rooms have traditional Chinese furniture, air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom (western style WC), TV, free internet access. The guesthouse also has common computers, IDD and DDD. Family or group can book a private courtyard. Please requiry by email.

Booking Terms: Bookings must be made online and require at least 7 - 10 days in advance depending on the room type. A small deposit is required to reserve the room (40 RMB per night per room, should be online by credit card). The ramaining balance can be paid at the guesthouse. Accept major credit cards.
